Enrollment

Enrollment into a Rockville Day Care program is open to all children regardless of race, color, creed religion, national origin, gender, disability or economic status.

Children are enrolled on a first-come, first-serve basis from the community. Centers maintain a waiting list and families are contacted in the order in which inquiries were received. Montgomery County Employees will have first priority in our Woodlin, Wintergreen and Sargent Shriver Centers. These Centers are housed in County owned facilities.

Prior to enrollment parents/guardians may request an appointment to visit the Center. A brief orientation of the program is provided at this time. After the orientation parents/guardians must establish an appointment to enroll their children. This formal enrollment appointment is required as we feel it important for parents and center representatives to meet and have the opportunity to discuss their child, our program, and to review Association policies and procedures. Enrollment paperwork must be completed at the Center. The enrollment appointment should take approximately one hour.
Rockville Day Care has a priority to serve families who are in need of full time child care. Part time enrollments may be accepted at individual Centers on a space available basis.

A non refundable registration fee of $55.00 per family, and, one week (one month for complement programs) tuition is due at the time of enrollment.
